I can't wait to get back home and plant all this great organic stuff I got from Peaceful Valley Farm & Garden Supply. Photo by Doug Oster

I've been so crazy busy putting videos together at the National Heirloom Expo, I haven't had a chance to really look around...until now.

I had the pleasure of meeting Charlotte (daffodil planter) Germane from Peaceful Valley Farm & Garden Supply. It's a really cool place that sells great stuff for organic gardeners.

We had fun talking about garlic and fall planting, I was in heaven. They were offering all sorts of cool varieties of garlic, and you know me, I couldn't resist. I picked up some beautiful heads of 'Purple Italian,' 'Purple Glaze' and some mystery garlic someone forgot to label. I love a surprise, don't you?

Check out the tin of organic cool weather seeds and I also got a few other things to plant as soon as I get back to Pittsburgh.

I always talk about Peaceful Valley because they are committed to selling natural and organic products. It's better for you and it's better for everyone else too.

They made a few videos of me talking about why I'm organic, what made me go organic and how I plant garlic. As soon as they post them, I'll get a link up here.

I would highly recommend signing up for their daily garden posts at Dirt Du Jour. I've given them some books to give a way as prizes. Click on this link for more information.

The most fun I had at their booth was when they let me play salesman, to help a couple who are wanted to grow garlic in the mountains, zone 6. We had a blast talking about one of my favorite subject and they went home with a few bags of seed garlic.

I know it's hard to imagine, but I loved my 15 minutes of fame at the Peaceful Valley booth.
