It's time for the 12th Annual Edible Flowers Food Fest at South Park on Thursday, July 19th at 7:30 pm at the Buffalo Inn in South Park!
Some of the items on the menu this year include Baked Fish with Lemon Thyme and Monarda sauce, Beef with Roses et Poivre, Tofu spread with Nasturtiums, Peach lavender jam, Springs greens with herbal dressing, Anise Hyssop Pizza, Chicken Mole with Rose hips, Herbes du Provence bread, Rice paper rolls with Nasturtiums and vegetables with an Asian dipping sauce, our Oven Roasted green beans with Onion buds, Green Gazpacho with garlic scapes, Chocolate Bark with lavender, pretzels and salted caramel, the ever popular Rose Petal Ice Cream and more!
Our speaker this year is Susan Marquesen, Penn State Master Preserver talking about how to use and preserve flowers along with recipes.
Some of the items on the menu are now celiac free. This facility is completely accessible and will have dedicated servers for those that need assistance. Please let us know if you need this service when registering.
