Betty Boop garden tools available downtown $3

I was downtown the other day and stopped into one of my favorite stores, Smithfield Outlet.

Unfortunately they told me they will only be able to remain open for a short time as the entire block is going to become a new hotel.

Anyway, I couldn't pass up these Betty Boop garden tools for $3 for the pair. They had about 10 sets left if you're interested. The store is located at 230 Forbes Avenue near Market Square. They've got some nice looking plants outside too.

I've always loved Betty Boop and the animation of Dave and Max Fleisher. Their work is imaginative, hilarious and in my opinion never got its due.

I won't be using these tools in the garden, they are for show. They'll also remind me of the little store I loved going to for bargains.
