Hot Pepper Wax working against rabbits

I've got two rabbits getting into the garden.
I chased them both out yesterday. I wanted to see where they are getting in and out. The garden is fenced with chicken wire over pickets. Upon further inspection, I see that these rabbits are small enough to run right through the fencing.
I hope to attach some smaller deer netting to the bottom of the fence this weekend. Hopefully it will do the trick.
For the past couple weeks I've been spraying plants with Hot Pepper Wax and it's keeping the rabbits off the vegetables and flowers.
It's made in Greenville, Pa, which is nice too.
The nice thing is, you can eat your vegetables the same day they are sprayed.
Even though it's frustrating seeing the rabbits come and go as they please, they are fun to watch.
I've got a chair set up in the woods where I can just put my feet up and enjoy nature.
A half hour after spooking the rabbits, one appeared from under some ferns. It had no idea I was there and for 20 minutes I watched it nibble, scratch and stand up looking for predators.
There's something about watching the little guy in an unguarded moment that was wonderful. I hope he grows quick and stays out of the garden though.
