Robins wait for food

Written by Doug Oster on .

Three baby robins wait to be fed.

This is another nest that's about a week ahead of the babies I posted earlier in the week. The mother nested in an old bluebird box with the side missing. I was worried that the babies would be vulnerable, but they've done fine.

I filmed them being fed, which will post with Digging with Doug on Saturday.

It won't be long until these birds are on their own.

There have been lots of birds showing up in the garden including a male and female Scarlet Tanager, a pair of Blackburnian Warblers and a pair of Rose Breasted Grosbeaks.

I'll try to get some pictures.

It's fun to see the different species returning and thriving.
