Today is the 4th of July, the day we celebrate our independence as a country. And out there in the land of social networking it has been declared the week of independence from dirty energy. Check out Green for All's  declaration of independence.

You get options, a choice and opportunity all in one. And you get a new avatar for your facebook page.

Of course there was a lot of talk over the last week about how "green" the 4th is and maybe there could be better ways to celebrate. I ran into this video which has a few suggestions on how to cut down the impact of your celebration: How to have a Green 4th of July
