Two Taylors going their separate ways

USMagazine.com is reporting that the two Taylors are no longer a pair. 

After three months of dating, country singer Taylor Swift and "The Twlight Saga: New Moon" star Taylor Lautner have split,

"It wasn't really developing into anything, and wasn't going to, so they decided they were better as friends," Us quoted "a source close to Swift."

The not-yet-18 Lautner and the 20-year-old Swift met on the set of the romantic comedy "Valentine's Day," in which they play teenagers in love. They each acknowledged rumors that they were a couple as separate hosts of "Saturday Night Live."

The upside may be a downturn in tabloid headlines, but with Swift newly minted as AP's Entertainer of 2009 and Lautner a member of the Twilight-verse, that's probably too much to ask for.
