'Pineapple Express' and iTunes

 When "Pineapple Express" hits streets on Jan. 6, DVD and Blu-ray versions will include a free download of the movie from iTunes.

Buyers can use the provided "unlock code" to download a free additional copy of the stoner comedy on iTunes. They can also download a digital copy playable on PSP or personal computer with Windows Media Player.

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment reports this is the first time one of its releases will include the iTunes bonus. It will offer that extra on other select titles in the future.

"Pineapple Express" is an action comedy starring Seth Rogen as a process server and pot smoker who goes on the run, with his clueless dealer (James Franco), after witnessing a murder. It arrived in theaters in early August.
