Quincy Jones on Michael and Bubbles
It's all Michael all the time, as we all know, and Quincy Jones spoke to Details magazine about the pop icon he knew:
On losing Michael: "It hurts my soul, man. It's just a lump down there."
On why he won't attend Michael's funeral: "No, not at all, not at all. Because it's going to be, like, 9 million people there, and it's not what I want to see."
On whether or not he ever met Bubbles: "Are you kidding me? He bit a hole in my daughter's hand! Rashida's hand. Rashida Jones-did you see I Love You, Man? That's my daughter. She was a little girl. And Bubbles bit her hand..."
On Michael changing his appearance: "It's ridiculous, man! Chemical peels and all of it. And I don't understand it. But he obviously didn't want to be black."
