Forget the Cleveland Orchestra, here's a cut for all of us

Written by Andrew Druckenbrod on .

After all the super-serious postings about the Cleveland Orchestra over the last week, I think we all deserve some lighter fare. First up, I happened to need to get some info on an album yesterday and saw that ArkivMusic is having a huge sale. Yes, a clearinghouse sale, just like the loud guys on TV yell about in stentorian voices, but usually about cars or furniture. I am not sure if I am supposed to be recommending sites that make money, nor do I want to make it seem as if I am singling out ArkivMusic, but I am here as a reader service, too. So check it out, it is one of those 50% off dealios on some big titles and you just might fill your cd player or Ipod with some great music. That's always good.

Secondly, did you see this bit o' news about a fellow who found Beethoven's skull in a box among his mother's possessions? Yes, you read that right, if this report on the Huffington Post is true (and that is no given).
