McCain is no hero
Tom Waseleski
John McCain has made a big point of his command experience and his service to country, but he's not serving the voters by suspending his presidential campaign. His proclaimed need to join the bailout talks on Capitol Hill is a ploy to distract Americans from a campaign that is now going south, dragged down by the consequences of his friend's presidency. This is no-surrender McCain?
Let the other 98 senators deal with the Wall Street rescue. McCain is the Republican Party nominee and he should be out on the hustings in debate with Barack Obama and in touch with the voters. Anything short of that looks like a retreat to me. What do you think?
