Liberty coach conference call highlights

Liberty coach Danny Rocco (pictured, right) had a conference call for the media who covers West Virginia a few minutes ago. The Fox Chapel Area High School graduate had a few interesting things to say:
> While there has been considerable talk about the inexperience of West Virginia's offensive line heading into the season, Rocco made a point to express to the media to, "don't believe everything you read." He also said, because that unit has been questioned, they undeniably could be playing with a chip on their shoulder. "I am sure their offensive line is going to come storming out of the locker room ready to kick some butt," Rocco said.
> Rocco said that he and West Virginia coach Bill Stewart came to an agreement to exchange all game films from last year, not just three or four as is often the case with opening week games. He also went on to explain how his family and Stewart have known each other for a long time and how Stewart came to visit and congratulate him soon after he accepted the head coaching job with the Flames.
> Maybe the rankings don't say so, but Rocco was ready to put a number on where he feels the Mountaineers stand going into the season. "We are excited about this opportunity to play what we consider to be a top-20 football program in this country."
