Noel Devine to the rescue

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- What can you really say about West Virginia's 35-24 victory against Colorado, other than this: If it wasn't for Noel Devine stepping in and having a career night, there is a chance, probably a decent-sized chance, the Mountaineers could be sitting here right now with two losses.
There was no question Devine was the difference. And, for my money, I thought he ran the ball North and South like he never has before, getting his shoulders square and showing everyone he has some power-runner in him.
Ryan Clarke needs mentioned, too. From the fullback position, he came in and made some yards when the offense really needed them, but it truly was Devine that provided the difference.
Check back later Friday for the complete rehash on the game.
