Made it to Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.

I've made it down to Jacksonville, and am staying at the Hyatt Regency next to the river for the week. From this photo, you can see that I can kind of, sort of see the stadium from my 14th floor room:

Well, as for the rest of today, I plan to find a place to watch the Pitt-North Carolina bowl game and then come back to the room and do some writing. The coverage, full go in the hard copy of the Post-Gazette, will begin Monday morning with a piece on Bobby Bowden that I worked on the last few days.

The first practice is tomorrow morning at 11:15 a.m., so I will undoubtedmy be over there, working on a few stories and, definitely, updating the blog as much as I can.

All that said, look for the blog to really pick up tomorrow -- and remain that way all the way through the very end of the Gator Bowl.
