Comrie to see doctor for hip - 12-20-10

Penguins coach Dany Bylsma revealed today that forward Mike Comrie (above), out of the lineup since Nov. 24, has been dealing with a hip ailment since the second game of the season, Oct. 9. He will see a doctor Dec. 27 to address the injury.

In 16 games this season, Comrie has five assists. Comrie, 30, was a free agent signing this past offseason.

Also today, Brooks Orpik skipped practice today as he was stuck in traffic on the Parkway West.
