Kennedy out due to illness - 11-15-10

Penguins forward Tyler Kennedy (above) will miss tonight's game due to an illness. In 17 games this season, Kennedy has five points (two goals, three assists). He had played primarily on a line the past two games with Mark Letesut and Chris Conner.
The team's forward lines looked like this:
Chris Kunitz - Sidney Crosby - Pascal Dupuis
Matt Cooke - Evgeni Malkin - ArronAsham
Chris Conner - Mark Letestu - Maxime Talbot
Mike Comrie/Mike Rupp - Craig Adams - Eric Godard
Additionally, Sidney Crosby was named the NHL's second star of the week.
For the Rangers, tough guy Derek Boogaard, who was involved in two fights yesterday with Oilers enforcer Steve MacIntyre, will not play due to a hand ailment.
EN Says: Kennedy has played outstanding all season and has brought nothing but energy and hustle to the lineup. And he has developed some chemistry with the new third line of Conner and Letestu. His absence is more than a little disappointing.
