Staal develops new injury - 11-01-10

Written by Seth Rorabaugh on .

It wouldn't be a normal day in the Penguins' world if injuries weren't involved.

-Jordan Staal (right), seemingly on the verge of returning after missing the first 12 games due to a foot injury, left practice today with what the team termed as an "upper body" injury. TSN reported Staal injured his hand.

-Alex Goligoski (undisclosed), Kris Letang (wrist/hand) and Evgeni Malkin (knee) sat out the entire practice and were described as day-today by Dan Bylsma.

-Malkin missed all of Saturday's game in Carolina while Letang left the contest in the second period.
