Written by Seth Rorabaugh on .

The Penguins will get to renew acquaintances with someone they grew familiar with this past spring.

The Blues will start Jaroslav Halak (above) in net tonight (PG+). Halak was the starting goaltender for the Canadiens in last season's playoffs when they upset the Penguins in seven games during an Eastern Conference semifinal series.

Halak will be making starts on back to back nights. In last night's 4-2 defeat of the defending Stanley Cup champion Blackhawks, Halak made 23 saves on 25 shots.

This season, Halak had a 3-1-1 record with a 2.17 goals against average, and .911 save percentage.
