Notes:

-We would hold off on pre-ordering that Eric Tangradi (right) Wheeling Nailers jersey.

-"When we don't have the puck, all five guys will be playing defense." - Dan Bylsma.

-"I don't think you ever can prepare someone for it. They just have to experience it, and go from there." - Brooks Oprik on the Penguins-Flyers rivalry.

-What role did Arron Asham's health play in the bizarre Eric Tangradi-Patrick Killeen transaction yesterday (PG+)?

-See you next year Simon Despres (PG+)

-Tonight's game will be the 167th consecutive sellout - regular and postseason games included - for the Penguins. Attendance for a sellout has increased from 17,132 at the Civic Arena to 18,087 at Consol Energy Center.

-Flyers defenseman Chris Pronger (right), who underwent knee surgery in the summer, participated in his first full contact practice of the preseason Tuesday. He has been wishy-washy on whether or not he will play tonight.

-Flyers right winger Ian Laperriere's head injury, stemming from being struck in the head with a puck in last season's playoffs, could sidelined him for the season or even bring his career to an end.

-Flyers goaltender Michael Leighton was placed on long-term injured reserve.

-Remember former Blue Jackets/Rangers right winger NikolaI Zherdev? Well he's now Flyers right winger NikolaY Zherdev.
