Grant suffers broken wrist - 09-12-10

Penguins defenseman Alex Grant (right) has been diagnosed with a broken wrist and whiplash following a scary collision yesterday.

Grant was injured in a rookie tournament game in London, Ont. when Senators forward David Dziurzynski drove him into the boards from behind.

Grant was carried off on a stretcher and hospitalized.

Grant was a fourth-round pick in 2004.
