Rangers re-sign Prospal - 07-01-10

Finally a Rangers signing which makes sense.

The Rangers re-signed forward Vaclav Prospal to a one-year deal worth a base salary of $1 million.

Last season, Prospal appeared in 75 games and recorded 58 points (20 goals, 38 assists and was a plus-eight.

EN Says: Nice signing by the Rangers. Prospal is a consistent goal-scoring threat. He's very similar to Petr Sykora. He should be good for about 20 goals provide he stays healthy but don't expect much else from him.
