Penguins select D McNeill in sixth round - 06-26-10

With their second sixth-round pick (No. 170 overall), the Penguins selected defenseman Reid McNeill of the OHL's London Knights.

In 53 games last season, McNeill recorded five points (two goals, three assists) and was a plus-11.

A lefthanded shot, McNeill is a native of London, Ont. He was the only Canadian selected by the Penguins this weekend.

Note: The Penguins traded their seventh-round pick to the Sharks for a seventh-rounder in 2011.
