Correal commits to William & Mary

Emily Correal, a 6-foot-3 senior forward at Peters Township, made a verbal commitment to William & Mary.

Correal, a member of the Post-Gazette Fabulous 5 team last year, also mulled scholarship offers from schools including Delaware, Richmond, Illinois and Liberty.

Last year, she averaged 20.1 points and 10 rebounds per game in leading the Indians to a spot in the WPIAL Class AAAA title game.

Her father, Chuck, played football at Penn State.
