WPIAL players, pitchers and coaches of the year

The WPIAL Baseball Coaches Association has released its players, pitchers and coaches of the year for the WPIAL.

The Associaton, directed by Tony Villiotti, sponsors the WPIAL baseball all-star games in june. Here are the players of the year:

Class AAAA - Matt Berezo, Pine-Richland

Class AAA - Colin Loughner, Blackhawk

Class AA - J.R. DeWeese, Center

Class A - Brandon Schultz, Monaca

Here are the pitchers of the year:

Class AAAA - Ryan Oglesby, North Allegheny

Class AAA - Scott Dierdorf, Hopewell

Class AA - Dillon Haviland, South Fayette

Class A - Alain Girman, Serra

Coaches of the Year are:

Class AAAA - Dan Caponi, Baldwin

Class AAA - Joe Colella, Hopewell

Class AA - Chris Graczyk, Freeport

Class A - Don Hartman, California

 All of the above winners will be honored at a June 11 banquet that kicks off all-star weekend. The weekend inlcudes the underclassmen showcase that will be held at Burkett Complex in Robinson, 8 a.m. June 12. The two all-star games are June 13 at Burkett at 1 and 4 p.m.
