Here's the money

Regarding the June 19 article "Legislature Urged to Make Critical Highway, Bridge Repairs": Much if not all the money needed for the repairs is already sitting in the legislators' emergency/slush fund controlled by the four caucuses in the House and Senate in Harrisburg.

Of course, PennDOT's Dan Cessna and our dear representatives, Rick Geist and Joseph Markosek, don't dare mention that! Dump that "slush" fund money into the General Fund for these repairs, representatives!

Also, what are the transit unions and enormous cost-inflated construction unions doing to help in making the needed repairs? Simple answer: Nothing! Their simple solution is: Just get the money from the taxpayers.

Well, I say let's see what sacrifices the legislators and unions make first, then come to us taxpayers for help.
