Arizona necessity

This is in regard to the letter by Suzanne Powell about the Arizona law intended to crack down on illegal immigration ("No Absolute Proof," May 19). Please, Ms. Powell, read the bill. It does not require a birth certificate. All you would need is your driver's license, green card or any other photo identification.

People like you, Attorney General Eric Holder and President Barack Obama continue to criticize Arizona's law unfairly. Have you read the bill?

The state of Arizona is $3 billion in debt because of illegal aliens. All the state asks the federal government to do is secure the borders, but the federal government will not do it. That's Bush and Obama.

So before you get your left-wing, liberal self in a rant, know the facts.
