Share in the salute

We are closing in on another Memorial Day so I thought I would offer a challenge to the citizens of the Pittsburgh area. I watched as you showed up some 300,000 strong for Super Bowl and Stanley Cup parades. The challenge is to do the same for the Memorial Day parades in the Pittsburgh area.

There is no reason other than illness or work that should keep any of us from attending one of these events throughout the region. Ladies and gentlemen put their lives on the line to protect your rights and freedoms. The least you can do is give them 15 minutes of your time to show that you appreciate what they did.
