Hooked on DUQ
I've been a jazz and NPR affiliate junkie wherever I've lived in the lower 48.
I've always been able to find the jazz joints and an NPR station (somewhere between 87 and 107 FM).I've lived in the 'Burgh off and on for a long time and always seem to return to these "roots" and one of the few epicenters of jazz origins in my country. With the 60-day option period on the sale of WDUQ's license ("Local Foundations Buy Into WDUQ's Future," May 5), we have time to reflect, petition and call for the required continuation of an independent jazz and NPR presence (with HD options) in this city.
