Drowning taxpayers

Written by Susan Mannella on .

The Port Authority cries every time it cannot meet its extravagant operating expenses such as: high wages to union and management and the large rat hole under the river to what?

Maybe it is time for union and management to consider helping a little by cutting wages and benefits and management bonuses and to stop acting like they are not the problem. They are the only ones who can solve this problem. The Port Authority tries to rob the riders and public for what they created.

People of Pennsylvania are drowning in more taxes and they have no one to cry to or jobs. They have no paid health benefits, bonuses, pensions, just an unemployment line and minimum wages.

How about the Port Authority getting off of its donkey and counting all that change it claims to have but is unable to count.

Like the president said we have to tighten our belts, so let's start with the Port Authority.
