Roethlisberger returns, Harrison gets rewards

Concussed quarterback Ben Roethlisberger practiced this afternoon after being cleared by doctors and, blessing the soft Heinz Field grass upon which he landed, declared himself ready to start against the Bolts on Sunday in the divisional round.

Also, the fourth-place finisher in the MVP voting -- the highest defender of the group -- thus became today, four days later, the announced winner of the AP's Defensive Player of the Year. More details about the youngest quarterback to win a Super Bowl and the thrice-released linebacker in the Tuesday print editions, of course.
