Crosby to carry Olympic torch - 10-27-09

Penguins captain Sidney Crosby (above) will carry the Olympic Torch for the relay across Canada prior to the 2010 Olympic Game in Vancouver. Crosby's portion of the relay will take place Nov. 18 in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

He will be one of 12,000 torchbearers to carry the touch.

No word yet on if the torch will be a composite torch or a two-piece. Or how much better Alex Ovechkin could do it.

Note:

-Pascal Dupuis skipped the Penguins' practice for the second consecutive day.
