Penguins sign Dupuis

The Penguins signed forward Pascal Dupuis to a three-year deal. Also, the structure of a contract extension for Evgeni Malkin is in place.

EN Says: Dupuis is a solid third- or even second-line player. He does the little dirty things well and can chip in some offense. He's probably not the player the Penguins acquired from Atlanta at the trade deadline Penguins fans would've like to have seen under contract before noon, but this is a solid signing.

Anything that keeps Malkin in a Penguins uniform is good.
