Stuart stays in Detroit

Written by Seth Rorabaugh on .

Defenseman Brad Stuart has agreed to a four-year deal with Red Wings. Detroit acquired Stuart from the Kings at the trade deadline.

EN Says: Detroit's group of defensemen might rival Anaheim's. Stuart would be a top one or two blueliner on a lot of teams. In Detroit, he's almost forgotten with the likes of Nicklas Lidstrom, Niklas Kronwall and Brian Rafalski. Either way, the Red Wings did well to hang on to him.
