A few minor moves
The Flames re-signed defenseman Jim Vandermeer and signed Oilers forward Curtis Glencross.
EN Says: Depth moves. Glencross was acquired by Edmonton prior to the trade deadling and provide some solid minutes for them as a third- or fourth-liner. Vandermeer is a sixth- or seventh- defenseman.
The Canucks re-signed goaltender Curtis Sandford and signed Blues forward Ryan Johnson.
EN Says: A garbage can could do Sandford job with Roberto Luongo there. Johnson is a mucker and grinder with some speed. Look for him on the third- or fourth-line
