Thrashers sign Hainsey

Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Ron Hainsey has signed with the the Atlanta Thrashers.

EN Says: If Hainsey is worth $22.5 million over five years, what's Brook Orpik's price tag? Atlanta needed to make splash in free agency and Ron Hainsey isn't it. He's capable of being a top four defenseman, but Atlanta needs a lot more than him.
