Minor moves on day three

Things have slowed down quite a bit on day three of the free agency periods. There have been a few minor moves however.
The Maple Leafs acquired forwards Mikhail Grabovski from the Canadiens for the rights to defenseman Greg Pateryn and a second-round draft pick.
EN Says: Good move for the Maple Leafs. Grabovski was one of the top prospects in Montreal's system. He was allegedly involved in a potential trade for Marian Hossa at the trade deadline. He a young player who can contribute imediately to Toronto.
Not quite sure why Montreal would make the move. Perhaps they felt a need to improve their depth at defense throughout the organization after having Mark Streit leave via free agency and with the potential retirement of Patrice Brisebois.
The Capitals signed Hurricanes forward Keith Aucoin.
EN Says: Depth move. Aucoin is a borderline NHLer.
