Meet Janne Pesonen

The Penguins are attempting to sign Finnish free agent Janne Pesonen.

There's not a lot of information out there on this guy. We can tell you some of the basics but not much else. A fourth-round pick by the Ducks in 2004, he's a bit on the small side at 5-foot-11 and 180 pounds. He is 26 years old.

And he apparently inspires folks to put together YouTube clips of his highlights set to some weird music:
