Whitney to miss 3-5 months

Penguins defenseman Ryan Whitney will miss 3-5 months due to surgery to correct a chronic foot problem.

We guess it's a good thing the Penguins didn't move Darryl Sydor yet.  It'll be interesting to see how the team adjusts it's power play with Whitney on the shelf. Does Kris Letang get an opportunity there since he's a right-handed shot or do they stick with someone a little safer like Sydor?
