Getting ready

We're going to do this for two reasons.

First, Dan Potash is good people.

Second, we're assuming these commercials are airing during Pirates games and since we can't imagine anyone with the ability to work a functioning remote control is actually watching that garbage at this point. So we figured we'd get the word out.

-Goaltender John Curry is an underdog.

-Penguins forward Mark Letestu had a goal and three assists in a 5-2 defeat of the Maple Leafs in the rookie tournament in Kitchener, Ont.

-Former Wilkes-Barre/Scranton goon Dennis Bonvie is already scouting his former team.

Atlantic Division

-The Flyers might stick Daniel Briere, Simon Gagne and Mike Richards on the same line.

Southeast Division

-Capitals owner Ted Leonsis is still not happy with us.

Pacific Division

-The Stars are counting on Fabian Brunnstrom to contribute quickly.
