Ottawa's Fisher injured - 10-3-08

Things are looking up for the Penguins for once this preseason. Senators forward Mike Fisher is dealing with a groin injury. He is questionable for tomorrow's season-opening game against the Penguins in Stockholm.

This injury is not related to the groin ailment which held him out of the Penguins' four-game sweep of the Senators in last season's playoffs.

Fisher is one of the best defensive forwards in the sport. His potential absence would make life a lot easier for young Kris Letang and Alex Goligoski on the Penguins' blue line.
