Georges Laraque still doesn't like the Flyers - 11-16-08
Canadiens forward and former Penguins enforcer handled some business for Philadelphia forward Josh Gratton last night:
-You have to love those Habs throwback uniforms by the way.
(Kudos to EN reader Nick Porto for the heads up.)
-Laraque attempted to fight Milan Lucic and Shawn Thornton of the Bruins last week, but neither player felt like getting roughed up.
-Despite the beat down, the Flyers were able to hold off the Canadiens, 2-1. Martin Biron made 24 saves in the win.

-Two goals by Loui Eriksson helped the Stars beat the Coyotes, 3-2.
-Ducks defenseman Francois Beauchemin (right) has a torn ACL in his left knee and will be out of the lineup for approximately six months. Or basically the rest of the season. Beauchemin is one of the league's most underrated talents and would get more attention if he didn't play on a team with two Norris Trophy candidates in Chris Pronger and Scott Niedermayer. This injury will hurt the Ducks quite a bit.
-With Beauchemin down, the Ducks recalled forward Bobby Ryan and defenseman Brett Festerling from Iowa of the AHL.
-Anaheim forward Teemu Selanne wants his team to start thinking more about defense.
-The Sharks don't have any harsh feeling for Blackhawks defenseman and former teammate Brian Campbell.
