Talbot injured - 12-12-08

We wondered last night why Maxime Talbot only had 7:20 of ice time last night. Well it turns out he suffered an undisclosed injury and he will not play tomorrow against the Flyers.

No word yet if the team will summon another warm body from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, but you have to figure this will allow Eric Godard a chance to get back into the lineup assuming he's healthy. Plus, you want someone like Godard in the lineup against the rough and tumble Flyers.

This has to frustrating for the Penguins. They finally get another player healthy in Philippe Boucher only to see Talbot go down.
