Central Division

-Jonathan Toews had a goal and an assist for the Blackhawks in a 3-1 win at Vancouver. Chicago has one seven consecutive games. Cristobal Huet made 30 saves in the win.

-Pavel Datsyuk and Jiri Hudler had a goal and an assist for the Red Wings in a 6-4 defeat of the Kings. Detroit defensemen Nicklas Lidstrom had three assists while Brad Stuart contributed two. Former Penguins goaltender Ty Conklin made 22 saves in the win. Fire Ray Shero. Los Angeles was led by Dustin Brown and Kyle Calder who each had a goal and an assist.

-Pekka Rinne made 23 saves for the Predators in a 1-0 shutout of the Islanders. New York's Joey MacDonald made 27 saves in the loss.

-Roman Polak scored his first NHL goal and added an assist for the Blues in a 4-2 win against the Wild. St. Louis forward Keith Tkachuk had two assists while goaltender Manny Legace made 24 saves in the win.

-Blue Jackets forward Mike York was happy to get a phone call at 4:30 a.m. recently.

Northwest Division

-The Flames demoted forward Jamie Lundmark to Quad City of the AHL.

-Wild forward Cal Clutterbuck (right) is five hits away from establishing the team's single-season record.

-Canucks forward and former Penguin Michel Ouellet has had a rough route to the NHL.

Pacific Division

-Evgeni Nabokov made 32 saves for the Sharks in a 3-2 win against the Rangers. Joe Thornton had two assists for San Jose.

-Ilya Bryzgalov made 33 saves for the Coyotes in a 2-0 shutout of the Blue Jackets. Steve Mason made 22 saves in the loss.

-Phoenix forward and former Penguins prospect Daniel Carcillo had a wild fight with Columbus' Jared Boll:

-The Ducks recalled forward Andrew Ebbett from Iowa of the AHL.

-Anaheim forward Teemu Selanne is expected to miss 4-6 weeks due to a leg cut.

-The Kings have lowered some ticket prices.

-The Sharks demoted Lukas Kaspar to Worcester of the AHL.
