Whitney to replace Letang, Stone demoted - 12-23-08

Ryan Whitney (above) will replace Kris Letang in the Penguins' lineup tonight after Letang suffered an unspecified injury in last night's 4-3 win at Buffalo. Whitney has not played all season due to offseason foot surgery.

The team also demoted forward Ryan Stone to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

Note:

-To say the least, folks in Buffalo are still a little skeptical about Sidney Crosby's goal last night.
