Johnson to start; McKee to sit - 03-02-10

Brent Johnson (above) will start in net tonight for the Penguins. He is 7-5-0 with a 2.74 goals against average and .912 save percentage.

Johnson has not played since a 3-2 overtime home loss to the Rangers, Feb. 12. He 20 saves on 22 shots He was pulled from that game late in the second period due to a "lower-body" injury.

All-time against the Sabres, Johnson is 5-4-0 with a 3.80 goals against average and .866 save percentage.

-Marc-Andre Fleury was actually late to practice today due to traffic, but his tardiness had nothing to do with Johnson's start according to Bylsma. The team had planned on starting Johnson in this game.

-Additionally, with the acquisition of Jordan Leopold, Jay McKee will sit tonight.

-Recycle your old Rob Scuderi jerseys. Leopold will wear No. 4.
