Jiri Hudler and Henrik Zetterberg each added a goal and an assist for Detroit which scored five power-play goals. Nashville was led by Steve Sullivan who had two goals. He scored a regulation goal for the first time in two years.

-Jarrett Stoll had a goal and two assists for the Kings who held off their rivals, the Ducks, 4-3. Dustin Brown and Anze Kopitar each had a goal and assist for Los Angeles. Ryan Getzlaf led Anaheim with a goal and an assist.

-Anaheim recalled defenseman Brendan Mikkelson from Iowa of the AHL.
