Central Division

-Henrik Zetterberg had a goal and two assists for the Red Wings in a 5-2 win against the Ducks. Teammate Pavel Datsyuk added a goal and an assist while former Penguins goaltender Ty Conklin recorded his 11th consecutive home win by making 24 saves. Fire Ray Shero. Teemu Selanne led Anaheim with two assists. Ducks defenseman Chris Pronger appeared in his 1,000th career game.

-The Red Wings "Kovaleved" goaltender Chris Osgood.

-Blackhawks goaltender Cristobal Huet (right) is making the most out of his chance with teammate and fellow goaltender Nikolai Khabibulin injured.

-Blue Jackets forward Mike Peca is a good human being.

-Predators forward Radek Bonk has turned his game around.

Northwest Division

-Ryan Smyth had a goal and two assists for the Avalanche in a 4-1 win at Washington. Teammate Adam Foote had a goal for the first time in 105 games as well as an assist and Colorado coach Tony Granato recorded his 100th career win. Capitals forward Alex Ovechkin was held without a point for the first time in 10 games.

-Some get a copy of this game tape to Dan Bylsma. The Avalanche won last night by playing a trap basically.

-Colorado's management looked pretty smart after its team tore up former goaltender Jose Theodore last night.

-You might want to hold off on pre-ordering that Ryan Smyth (right) Penguins jersey. The Avalanche forward has a no-trade clause and he doesn't seem too interested in waiving it.

-Canucks forward Mats Sundin renews some old acquaintances tonight in Toronto.

-With forward Jannik Hansen dealing with a finger injury, the Canucks recalled forward Alexandre Bolduc from Manitoba of the AHL.

-The Flames recalled forward Jamie Lundmark from Quad City of the AHL.

-A wonky knee is threatening to end the consecutive games streak of Wild forward Andrew Brunette. He's appeared in 509 in a row.

Pacific Division

-Sharks defenseman Jonathan Cheechoo is showing signs of regaining his scoring touch.

-Injuries to veterans are allowing some youngsters to step in for the Stars.

-Coyotes defenseman Kurt Sauer is fighting through a foot injury.

Norris Division

-The IIHF released the men's Olympic tournament schedule.
