...but Evgeni Malkin and Sidney Crosby are off to a pretty fast start these playoffs and have a chance at creating a little bit of history. All of three games into their first-round playoff series with the Flyers, they have the two highest combined points-per-game averages of any pair of Penguins teammates in a single playoff season:

Granted, assuming the Penguins move on past this round and face a real goaltender instead of a shooter tutor such as Martin Biron, those totals are bound to come down, but could you imagine where these numbers would be if the Penguins' power play was a little bit more effective?
