Hurricanes stomp Devils, even series, 3-3 - 4-26-09

Cam Ward (above) made 28 saves and Eric Staal had two goals and an assist for the Hurricanes in a 4-0 shutout of the Devils. The win tied the series, 3-3, with Game 7 scheduled for Tuesday, 7:30 p.m. in New Jersey.

With Carolina still alive, the Penguins still have a chance at having home-ice advantage in the second round.

EN Says: With apologies to the Blackhawks and Flames, This has easily been the best or tightest series of the playoffs. Game 7 should be a real treat. Too bad Versus is showing Game 7 of the Capitals-Rangers series.
