-Interesting moves by the Hurricanes as they have inserted Anton Babchuk into the lineup in place of Frantisek Kaberle. Additionally, Tuomo Ruutu is scratched. The Hurricanes' other scratches are Brandon Sutter, Michael Ryan, Zach Boychuk, Brett Carson, Bryan Rodney, Tim Conboy, Drayson Bowman, Dwight Helminen and Justin Peters.
